Our Story
Green Echo RETT was founded to bridge the gap between national energy policy and local implementation in Nigeria. We recognized that the success of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan depends not only on high-level commitments, but on grassroots mobilization, state leadership, and public accountability. Starting in Cross River and Anambra States, our initiative brings together government, civil society, and community voices to shape and execute inclusive, subnational energy transition strategies.

Mission Statement
To catalyze a just, inclusive, and locally owned energy transition in Nigeria by activating state-level actors and communities in support of the National Energy Transition Plan.
Key Objectives
- Develop and implement subnational action plans for energy transition in partnership with Cross River and Anambra States.
- Convene key stakeholders across sectors to align priorities and shape sustainable energy policies.
- Document and publish the milestones, challenges, and successes of state-level energy transition.
- Demonstrate a scalable model that can be replicated across other Nigerian states.
- Use strategic communications to raise public awareness and shape political narratives around energy reform.
